Cold easterly winds have stopped any surface movement for the moment.
But a fine week of weather last week with 275 fish taken including a couple of 9lb rainbows for Jason Vaswani and Antony Austen, a 6lb brownie for Nick Shields and a 5lb for Nathan Bowman. Well over half the bag taken on small nymphs, most on black or olive buzzer with GRHE, PTN and Diawl Bach all did well. Of the dry patterns hoppers scored well and sedge patterns in the evenings. Water clarity is excellent. Anglers are reminded that they must have 4 fish tickets for a full day's fishing.
