In September 2008, Albury Estate held an inaugural Ladies Flyfishing Beginners Day.
Following the successful Skiffle/Flyfish format, participants were given 30 minutes fly casting coaching before being assigned a fishing guide for the day. Almost all the ladies caught a fish, were given numerous demonstrated recipes from an angling chef and also saw a fly tying demonstration.
We successfully repeated the exercise twice in 2009, and again this year on 5th May.
The next Ladies Day will be held on Wednesday 8th September.
